Phet is from the University of Colorado, Boulder. The math and science simulations are based on extensive research and are an excellent way to engage students through an intuitive game setting where students can learn by exploration and play.
Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Earth Science are the science categories, and math concepts, including fractions, graphing and probability as well as math applications including balancing, making waves and projectile motion to name a few.
Phet is organized by subject, but additionally, you can search by grade level and by device (either Chromebook or iPad).
When actual lab experiences are not an option, this is a great website to use to provide virtual hands-on experiences.
